In the first round of the Gauteng North Dunslaz Open played at the Groenkloof Tennis Stadium in Pretoria yesterday (Tuesday), all top seeds made it through to face their second round challengers today.

In particular, no. 1 Lizaane du Plessis and no. 2 Tegan Edwards were particularly brutal, sending off their initial opposition in straight sets, Edwards without conceding a game in the match.
