On Tuesday it was the men who brought glory to Team SA in Beijing, as double-gold Paralympian Hilton Langenhoven added a third gold in the men’s 200m T12 on Tuesday, and Fanie Lombard captured the tops spot in the men’s discuss F42, to elevate the country to a heady sixth place with 19 gold in a total of 26 medals.

South African Olympic swimmer Natalie du Toit won her fifth gold of the Paralympics Sunday, matching her haul from the Athens Games. Du Toit took the women's 50m freestyle in a Paralympic record time of 29.20 seconds, finishing 0.13sec ahead of Russia's Irina Grazhdanova.
