African triathlon champion Mari Rabie made history on Sunday, by becoming the first African athlete to win a medal at the triathlon world championships in Vancouver, Canada, on a tough day for the women's field, with only 19 women finished the race after a frosty 11.2 degrees Celsius water temperature to start the event.
